As tropical timber is naturally resistant, aesthetic and ecological, it is the logical choice for the manufacture of upscale products.
This group of uses involves species that are intended for upscale products, especially species considered to be valuable or semi-valuable and intended for the manufacture of objects with a high added value:
The aesthetic character of the timber is the main selection criterion to be retained. Timber species with a high degree of stability will be easier to use, even though this characteristic is not essential (valuable species such as Ebony and Rosewood are often difficult to use and are not very stable). The timber that is used must not be too heavy, in order to avoid the manufacture of products that are too difficult to handle.
