As tropical timber is naturally resistant to external aggressions, aesthetically pleasing and ecological, it is the logical choice for most of exterior installation... and especially for joineries.

This represents one of the leading uses of tropical timber in France and in western European countries that use timber from the three tropical production zones (Asia - South America - Africa).

Exterior joineries include:

Cladding and outer coating
Windows and doors
Screen walls and solar shading
Shutters and closures

Species that can be used for exterior joineries require a good natural durability or, at the very least, a high degree of impregnability. Similarly, a minimum density level of 0.45 is required. Criteria in terms of appearance and stability should also to be taken into account.
